Kathmandu: India has continued its support for Nepal’s ongoing relief and rescue operations following the devastating Rasuwa flash floods, with two additional Indian Air Force flights arriving in Kathmandu.
The sixth and seventh relief flights, both operated by C-130J aircraft, arrived in Kathmandu carrying a combined 21.5 tonnes of relief assistance, including forensic kits and medical supplies.
The relief materials were handed over to the Nepali authorities to support ongoing search, rescue and relief operations in the flood-affected areas.
The assistance is expected to strengthen Nepal’s disaster response efforts, particularly in forensic identification and medical support, while providing additional assistance to communities affected by the Rasuwa floods.
The latest deliveries further underscore India’s continued humanitarian support to Nepal in the aftermath of the disaster.
